When first trying to see the aura, situate the person in front of a very softly lit
plane white background. Rooms that aren't too bright usually seem to work
better. Look at one spot. The middle of the forehead is good.
Look at the spot for a minute. Analyze the surroundings with
your peripheral vision while looking at the same spot. You should see the
background near the person is brighter or has a different color. The longer
you concentrate, the better you will see. Concentrating on one spot increases
your sensitivity by accumulating the effect of the aura vibration reaching your eyes.

If this doesn't work, try looking beyond where the person is standing. Ignore
the person's body. If you look at them you will lose the aura image.
(This is kind of like looking at a magic picture - one of those you stare at and finally
see a 3-d effect in the background.) Once you see it you will probably always
be able to.

At first the area surrounding the person will probably be white or light green.
As you practice other colors will appear. Eventually you may see the person's
chakras. (They look like bright energy areas.)

The aura looks like a bright haze around the subject's body. It is particularly
easy to see around the head and shoulders. Some auras are easier to see than
others. You can practice by looking at yourself in a mirror. Don't
stand too far from the mirror as the distance is doubled.
