CHINESE
CALENDAR:
The Chinese calendar consists of 12 animal
designations that shift in
12 year cycles. The first 3-7 weeks of each year
on the Gregorian
calendar belong to the previous Chinese year and animal
designation.
The Chinese New Year is celebrated at the first new moon
after the
sun enters Aquarius - sometime between Jan 21 and Feb 19.
