Ranek's Gym & Sports Training was founded in July of 2005 by Jesse Ranek.   It was his vision to open the first 24-hour access fitness and tanning facility in western South Dakota;  That vision has become reality with one location in Spearfish and work in progress on additional facilities in the surrounding area.

Jesse received a HPER (Health, Physical Education & Recreation) degree from South Dakota State University and is also CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) Certified through the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association).  Jesse played football for SDSU and went on to play professionally in Europe, and in the Arena Footbal League for 5 years.

Jesse is joined in the gym by his fiance Jenna;  They are both trainers, and enjoy working with Ranek's Gym members in achieving personal fitness goals and living a healthier lifestyle through intense workouts and healty supplementation and nutrition.

Ranek's Gym trainers work one-on-one with their clientele wether they're athletes in training or everyday people just trying to improve their health.  The certified and professional trainers are here to help clients tone up, lose weight, and learn more about their personal fitness and nutrition while providing specifically designed programs for each individual.

The facilities at Ranek's Gym are state-of-the-art;  From selectorized weight machines and cardio equipment to free weights, plate-loaded machines, tanning beds and Advocare nutritional supplements.  Ranek's Gym is locally owned and manged, and takes pride in the cleanliness of their facility.  They provide a friendly, safe and very engergetic atmosphere 24-hours a day for members to achieve their personal fitness goals and healthier lifestyle.
